What do you like most about Mac GenSx? An incredibly supportive and encouraging group of co-residents and staff, early operative exposure with numerous opportunities to enhance skills in all aspects of General Surgery at CMAS and clinical practice, and a collegial program that values resident input and truly invests in resident success! You always feel supported in the program; there's always someone willing to help out or hang out!

Fun Fact: I love to swim, I will attempt any and all water-related activities, and I can spend forever by or in oceans & the Great Lakes mesmerized by the views! 🌊

What do you like most about Mac GenSx? I value the supportive work environment, the strong camaraderie among co-residents, and the high volume of surgical exposure. I also appreciate the program’s unwavering support for pursuing interests outside of the clinical setting, from research and teaching to medical journalism and beyond.
Fun Fact: When I’m not in the hospital, you can usually find me working on perfecting my uppercut at the local kickboxing gym!

What do you like most about Mac GenSx? I really value the early operative exposure—it’s incredible to be so hands-on early in training. I also appreciate the supportive and collaborative environment here. My co-residents are fantastic; everyone is willing to help each other out, and it really feels like a team. It’s a great place to grow both personally and professionally, and I’m grateful to be part of a program that prioritizes resident education and well-being
